I think this is so great. I'm a Broad Channel girl at heart and always will be. Nothing like that salt water smell.

wHAT A NICE SUPRISE TO SEE THE OLD BCAC DOING FINE FROM ONE OF THE ORIGINAL FOOTBALL PLAYERS IT IS GREAT TO SEE. RECOGNIZED SOME OF THE NAMES PLAYED WITH YOUR FATHERS OR MAYBEE EVEN GRANDFATHERS.

I am amazed at the change in Broad Chanel. I was born in the Rockaway Beach Hospital in 1925. I went to PS 44,which I can't find. Broad Channel is absolutely beautiful I think I might have a cousin there. Would love to visit again. I went to school with anAlice McGratten from BC. Congratulations!!!

Enjoyed my visit to Broad Channel. Everything looks wonderful. I even got to go to Duffys and saw Gail Waldheim. I was looking for the "bouncer", Miss Bowden, but was told she is only there on Mondays. What a big disappointment.Stopped in Coogans and saw my former neighbor Pat Ciaccio. She looks great. Stayed overnight with good friend Pat Ritter and lunched at Kennedy and supped at Snug Harbor. It was a nice treat to be back in BC. Heard that St. Virgilius class of 1953 is having its 50th reunion next month. Mine will be coming up too in 4 more years. Class of 57 hope we have a reunion.

Are there any St. Virgilius 1954 grads in BC willing to organize a 50 year reunion for 2004? I'd be willing to help, but think it would be easier for some current BCers to start it off. How about it? If we start this year, we may be able to contact everyone by next year and make it a "huge" one.
