The 12 Towns Y.M.C.A. is having an after school program at St. Virgilius School. The time is from after school til 6:00, all school age children can attend. If anyone is interested there will be an open house on Thursday October 6, 2005.

On Thursday, October 13, 2005 the BroadChannelNY.com servers were experiencing technical difficulties.
Annoying errors cropped up in the Forums as a result of disk failures and other corruptions.
The website was shut down for over 24hrs to repair the problems.
Problems were resolved by Friday, Oct. 14, 2005 @ 5:30pm.
The servers are now fully back online.

Hello all. I wanted to take a moment to update everyone on my brother Kevin's progress. Everyone has been wonderful in their support of him. The people I see around town have given nothing but well wishes and I pass along each and every one to Kevin. The operation finally took place Monday. The Doctors were very pleased with the outcome. He is now recouperating and trying to regain some strength. I saw him yesterday and he is in good spirits (although in pain). He wants everyone to know how much your prayers and support mean to him. He'll be in the hospital for another ten days or so, and afterwards will continue intense treatments. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I'll keep you updated. I'm leaving now to see him again, knowing I bring the entire towns well wishes with me.

Good news is always great to hear. We're all behind him and praying for him. This is a good hearted town and he's got quite a few good people thinking about him all the time. Keep us posted Billy!

A quick update on Kevin. He is doing really well. However, a small leak has been detected in the esophogus. Doctors say, not a big deal, just need to keep him another couple of extra days until it completely heals. Once that happens he needs to eat soft foods for three or four days without further complication. Then he can be released. He's not too happy about the extended stay but realizes the need for it. Thanks again for all your well wishes.
